چکیده

Multiple cartilage-tipped osteomata are often congenital, hereditary, and fairly symmetrically bilateral. They occur near the growing ends of long bones in the vicinity of the epiphyseal cartilage; this gives strong support to the view that they arise in a sequestrated part, or ' rest', of the epiphyseal cartilage.
